Meta is making it easier to create, edit, and schedule Reels. Reels are TikTok-like music clips, the fastest-growing content on Meta today. That is why the platform continuously launches new Reels creative tools.
Instagram Reels was launched in August 2020 during the instant popularity of TikTok. Today, Instagrammers can create 90-second Reels from the original 30-second clips. Creators can also get inspiration from the new Reels templates. You can also connect with your followers through stickers on Instagram Reels. These include emoji sliders, polls, and quizzes. What’s more, you can also import any 5-second and up audio from your camera roll.
Facebook Reels was launched last February. Initially, creating and scheduling Facebook Reels are only available to Android and iOS users. Today, it is now available on the desktop. Meta also enables “clips to Reels.” It allows users to create Reels clips from long-form videos and live streams. Users can also enhance Reels with the new “sound sync” as they can automatically fit the video clip with a favorite song, digital voiceovers, or text narrations.
