Here’s some great news from YouTube’s Creator Insider channel! YouTube now enables polls and trailers on live streaming.
Trailers enable creators to add a 15-second to 3-minute clip on a scheduled or upcoming page of YouTube Premiere. Today, such a tool is now available for scheduled and upcoming live streams. It will be available among YouTube Creators with 1,000 subscribers and zero strikes. They can now add trailers from YouTube’s Live Control Room and webcam with the same functionality as premieres.
Live interactions are also critical when creating and watching live streams. So, YouTube is also making polls available to all live streamers. These are previously available only in YouTube gaming. Live chat polls enable creators to create and manage them within the space. Once a live chat is enabled, polls will now be available in the live chat window for all creators.
