Today, Instagram Reels is one of the most booming competitors of TikTok. They are now both on Facebook and Instagram. The platform also added new editing tools and visual replies. To help creators earn more via Reels ads, Instagram now introduces Reels overlay ads.
To enable Reels overlay ads, a creator must go to the “Allow Ads” setting of the Instagram account and turn on the blue button beside “Allow Reels Overlay ads.” It will let brands insert ads on eligible Reels uploaded by a creator with no extra work.
