Table of Contents

YouTube is making huge steps in eCommerce and user experience. Yet the platform never forgets to prioritize safety for YouTube artists & creators. Today, YouTube launches a Creator Safety Center.

YouTube partners with creators, nonprofits, and 3rd party experts, including ConnectSafely, the Family Online Safety Institute, and the National Cybersecurity Alliance to collect data and tips that can help creators with the following:

  • How to start safely as a new creator
  • How to grow your channel safely
  • How to manage account hijacking, bullying, trolling, and unwanted behaviors
  • How to bounce back by finding support networks

YouTube launches the Creator Safety Center today.

Implications to Marketers:

The main goal of the Creator Safety Center is to promote inclusion and safety on YouTube. It can help the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), LGBTQ+, non-binary, and women creators and marketers who are starting on YouTube.
