Introducing YouTube’s “Super Thanks”! This is the latest addition to YouTube’s Supers family, a feature for content monetization among creators. Creators are the heart of YouTube. That is why the platform focuses on helping them boost their revenues and connect with the right audience.
Formerly, “Viewer Applause”, YouTube has been testing “Super Thanks” since February. With the said features, creators can earn money as fans send tips under 4 price points ranging from $2 to $50 or its equivalent to a local currency. Fans will receive a bonus through their favorite stars and GIFs. Their comments will also be highlighted as colorful and distinct for creators to send a quick reply. “Super Thanks” is under beta testing with a small group of creators as of 20 July 2021.
