Double U Video · Buyer guide
Prepare a business live stream by agreeing the audience, platform, running order, venue requirements, sound, rehearsal and recording needs. Confirm responsibilities before the event. This is a planning checklist; the technical solution and any contingency arrangements must be agreed for the individual production.
Define the audience and destination
State who should watch and whether access is public or restricted. Confirm the intended platform, account owner and permissions needed to start the broadcast. Double U’s existing service pages cover Facebook Live and Instagram Live; discuss eligibility and account access before relying on a particular destination.
Prepare the running order
List speakers, presentations, performances, breaks and audience interactions. Identify what remote viewers need to see during each segment. Assign an event coordinator to communicate changes and a person responsible for approved on-screen wording.
Check the venue and sound
Share the venue, camera positions, available power, audio arrangements and presentation equipment. Ask the production team and venue to check connectivity for the proposed stream. An advertised connection speed alone does not establish reliable event coverage. Confirm microphone needs and how presentation sound reaches the broadcast.
Agree rehearsal and contingencies
Schedule a rehearsal appropriate to the event, including contributor cues, presentation playback, sound and the viewing destination. Agree what happens if a contributor is late or the connection is interrupted, who makes the decision and how viewers are informed. Do not assume a backup connection or recording is included unless it is in the scope.
Confirm rights and recording outputs
Check contributor permissions and rights for presentation footage, music and other materials. Decide whether a recording, edited highlights, subtitles or short social clips are required, and identify who approves them. Keep live coverage and subsequent editing as clear deliverables in the quotation.
